How it works
The flow is designed for short attention spans: no app install, no searching for cash, and a clear confirmation before payment.
The customer taps the NFC band or scans the QR fallback.
The worker profile opens with quick amounts and a custom option.
The payer sees the total and completes the provider payment flow.
Admins can view tags, worker status, payment activity, and readiness.

Interactive example
This example explains the model only. Final processing costs depend on the selected payment provider and are shown before payment.
Operational control
The public tipping page is intentionally simple. The control layer behind it gives operators the visibility needed to manage real-world rollout without losing track of tags or activity.
Link each NFC band or QR code to the correct worker profile and deactivate it if needed.
Capture profile details and payout readiness before a band goes live.
Track payment status, references, amounts, and provider responses from one place.
Keep public tipping pages separate from internal admin and operator tools.
Trust and control
TapNation keeps the public tipping experience simple while giving operators the controls needed for tags, worker records, payment visibility, and fallback access.

Buyer questions
No. The customer taps the NFC band or scans the QR code and the payment page opens in their browser.
The worker can use the printed QR fallback. It opens the same worker profile without needing NFC.
The payer sees the selected tip and any applicable processing cost before confirming. The selected tip remains allocated to the worker.
Yes. Admins can deactivate, relink, or reassign tags from the dashboard when workers change or bands move.
The tag can be deactivated so the old NFC or QR link no longer points to an active tipping profile. A replacement tag can then be linked.
A worker activates their band through the onboarding flow, adds profile details, and provides the information needed for payout readiness.
Public visitors only see the worker tipping profile. Worker records, tag status, and transaction history sit behind admin access.
Send us your area, worker count, and intended use case. We will help you plan setup, band activation, QR fallback, and payment-flow readiness.
